Croatia is an EU country and adapted its legal system to EU standards already more than 10 years ago. With the registration in the land register / cataster you are the owner. The purchase of the land can be made as a private person (for EU citizens) - or as a newly founded company in Croatia (for non-EU citizens). The creation of the purchase contract and the processing of the land register entry is carried out by a state-licensed notary.
